There are plenty of movies out that can expand your knowledge of climate change and environmental issues. Grocery Store Wars, by Free Range Studios
This slightly-less-than 6 minute movie, shown on YouTube, highlights the plight of the U.S. food supply through the comic spoofing of the "Star Wars" movies. Instead of "The Force," Cuke Skywalker uses the power of "The Farm." Obie Wan Canolli guides him against the forces of non-organic food production. Take a peek. It's a cute plea to keep organic foods in mind.



How to Fight Climate Change with Cow Dung, by Seaworthy Films
This short film, just under two minutes in length, humorously shows viewers how they can create methane gas to help save our environment and also for profit!

Fictional & Children's Environmental Movies:

Ferngully: The Last Rainforest
This delightful animated film tells the story of a bat, voiced by Robin Williams, and young construction worker Zak, voiced by Christian Slater, who try to save a rain forest being demolished. It's a fun way to entertain kids and inform them of the dangers of one's actions and of the dangers of cutting down too many trees.

Hoot
A group of teens takes on some developers whose project threatens an endangered species of owl. It's lighthearted, yet imparts a green message to viewers - kids and adults alike.
