Cat Scan Submissions
Cat Scan Submissions
Writer’s Guidelines We are a publication devoted to getting the word out about environmental issues and sustainability in the Southwest, primarily in Arizona. We tackle topics ranging from government and law to alternative energy to fashion and art. We currently accept work from writers in a number of areas. The Cat Scan staff would like to see submissions that focus on environmental news, lifestyle pieces, education issues or business and technology. But we’re always open to new suggestions, so get creative and send us your ideas or finished work. All stories should maintain a focus on environmental issues. Please refrain from foul language and ad hominem attacks in your writing. Anyone interested in being published online for The Cat Scan should send their manuscripts in an attached Word document to catscansubmissions@gmail.com. Please try to keep your work to no more than 1500 words. We look for creative multimedia ways to tell stories and engage the reader, so do not hesitate to use video, slideshows or links in your stories. Within the email, please include your name, email address, phone number, and contact information for all sources used in the story, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your interest in the Cat Scan and in the environmental issues the world faces today. -The Cat Scan Staff |
