About Us
The Cat Scan is an online magazine produced by University of Arizona journalism students. As part of the Journalism Department's program, journalism 498D, taught by Professor Jay Rochlin, requires students to participate in creating and maintaining this online publication.
In past years, the Cat Scan covered a variety of topics from entertainment to lifestyle, and sports to news. Last semester, the Cat Scan staff decided to go in a different direction and exert all efforts into one theme-- "Green Living". This semester's staff has decided to continue that effort. Green living is a global movement that many believe can help protect the earth through daily decisions and lifestyle changes. In order to examine and inform you about this movement, the Cat Scan will be covering an array of topics via substantial online articles and weekly blogs related to green living. The Green Staff includes: Brandyn Abrams, Justin Adler, Jamie Blanchard, Allison Hamila, Melissa Krueger, Jordan Leboeuf, Michael Linsey, Eric Meyer, Rachel Nahmias, Shane Nichols, Catherine O'Connor, Danielle Oxman, Michael Schwartz, Anthony Tarnowski, Jennifer Tramm and Angelica Treistman. If you would like to help us cover this important issue, and are interested in being published on the Cat Scan Web site, please send submissions to catscansubmissions@gmail.com. Go Green!
